Hello everyone!

Being Physiotherapist, I have the wonderful opportunity of working with many individuals who suffer from Parkinson's disease in the course of my work.

Parkinson's disease is a neuro-degenerative disease that affects the mobility and quality of life of sufferers. It also affects other faculties such as speech and also increases the risk of psychological disorders inlcluding depression. In advanced Parkinson's disease, patients might require assistance from a carer to carry out day-to-day activities.

I have decided that for the year 2018, I will be competing in the Ironman 70.3 in Jeju, South Korea. The event consists of a 2km swim, a 90km bike ride and a 21.1km run.

More updates coming soon!
